Hometown Christmas

Hometown Christmas is an annual tradition to kick off the holiday season in Davenport. Put on by the Davenport Women's Association, Hometown Christmas is held the first Sunday after Thanksgiving. The celebration begins with wagon rides and caroling at Pioneer Plaza (Gazebo/Park located at 6th St. and Morgan St.) at 4 p.m. Then to the Memorial Hall (511 Park St.) at 5 p.m. for a bite to eat, some entertainment, pictures with Santa and many other holiday festivities. A truly cherished event, Davenport's Hometown Christmas Celebration is an event you should not miss! For more information about this event please contact the Chamber President.
