Davenport is located near many recreational areas with activities including hunting, fishing, swimming, boating, skiing (water and snow), and many other outdoor activities. 

July - Pioneer Days - Every year on the 3rd weekend in July at Davenport. The celebration includes a parade, arts and crafts and food booths, 3 on 3 basketball competition, concerts, and more...

August - Lincoln County Fair - Every year in August at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Davenport. 

August - Vintage Harvest Demonstration - The event is scheduled for the end of August on the Guhlke Farm 1-1/2 miles east of Davenport on Hwy 2.

November - Hometown Christmas - The last weekend in November is a special community time to celebrate the Christmas Holidays at the Memorial Hall with things to do for all the family.
